Why is pH important when it comes to finding the best drinking water? PH stands for "potential hydrogen" referrred to the amount of hydrogen mixed in the water. PH is measured on a scale from 1-14. 1 is extreme acidic, 7 is neutral, and 14 is extreme alkaline. There is a good chance your tap water is acidic.
Water with a low pH is acidic and corrosive and has the potential to leach metals from pipes which is dangerous for a persons health. Drinking water of pH between 7.5 and 8.5 is very healthy for the body. Studies show that when the pH level in the body is alkaline then it is healthy and not prone to disease.
In order to get pure water that has an alkaline pH, you will need to look into getting a water ionizer that produces alkaline ionized water. A couple water ionizers to look into are Kangen Water Ionizers and Life Ionizers.

Alkaline water addresses oxidation in the body, which is what happens when we allow the free radicals from our bad diets, drinks and environments. It is full of antioxidants, so by drinking these, you combat the damage done to your body by the free rads. I recommend looking around for a good water ionizer before investing in one, you may find one for cheap. http://www.lifeionizers.com/?utm_source=A&utm_medium=B&utm_campaign=C
